Job summary

Genesis is seeking a seasoned Data/AI Architect to shape end-to-end data and AI solutions across Retail, Trading, Finance and Asset Management. You will bridge strategy and delivery, turning ambiguity into practical architectures and staying close enough to implementation to ensure real-world outcomes.

The role requires deep experience in data, AI workloads, cloud platforms and strong stakeholder engagement, with a focus on secure, governed, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering data, AI or technology solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience designing and delivering complex data solutions, including data integration and modern cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and cloud data warehouses, with Python capability for data engineering, automation or integration.
• An understanding of machine learning, AI workloads, data governance, security and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, a collaborative approach and a willingness to keep learning as technologies evolve.

• Lead end-to-end architecture for data, analytics, AI and agent-enabled solutions, from discovery through implementation.
• Design scalable, secure and governed solutions that make trusted data available where it creates the most value.
• Shape AI-enabled customer experiences, trading insights and asset reliability solutions, including agentic AI and predictive analytics.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security and business teams to turn designs into working outcomes.
• Guide responsible use of generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning, including privacy, security, explainability and human oversight.

What You’ll Need

You’ll be comfortable working where the answer is not always obvious, listening closely to stakeholders and translating complex needs into clear, pragmatic solutions. You’ll bring strong technical judgement alongside the communication and influencing skills to work effectively across both business and technology teams.
