Job summary

Sky New Zealand is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Customer Platforms Technology team. You’ll shape solutions that connect our customers with the stories and sport they love, from concept through implementation across Salesforce, web apps and middleware integrations.

You’ll translate business goals and priorities into clear requirements, align with platform capabilities and architectural standards, and support teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes with confidence.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience in digital or technology delivery.
• Ability to define and structure business and functional requirements for digital platforms and system integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce, web applications or middleware integrations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with agile, iterative or plan-driven delivery approaches.
• Strong process, benefits and analysis skills, with BPMN experience.
• Tech-savvy with judgement to seek specialist input when needed.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand goals, capabilities and priorities.
• Gather, analyse and validate business needs through workshops and interviews.
• Turn requirements into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Refine and prioritise backlog items with the Product Owner.
• Act as a trusted link between internal teams and delivery partners.
• Review deliverables and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and communicate options clearly.
• Create and maintain documentation such as business cases and process flows.
