Job summary

Tradestaff Queenstown is looking for a Brush Hand to join a busy painting team working on projects throughout Cromwell and the wider Central Otago area.

You don’t need to be a fully qualified painter - we’re looking for someone with painting experience who knows their way around a brush, takes pride in your work and is keen to get stuck in. Immediate start with weekly pay and PPE provided where required.

Qualifications

• Some previous painting or brush hand experience.
• No formal painting qualification required.
• Reliable, hardworking and keen to get stuck in.
• Agood eye for detail and pride in your work.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Physically fit and happy working on your feet.
• Own basic painting tools are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assisting experienced painters with day-to-day painting work.
• Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces ready for painting.
• Sanding, filling and masking.
• Using brushes and rollers for painting and touch-ups.
• Helping with interior and exterior painting.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• Working alongside other trades on site.
• Following site safety requirements.

Tradestaff Queenstown is looking for a Brush Hand to join a busy painting team working on projects throughout Cromwell and the wider Central Otago area.
