Job summary

Tradestaff Queenstown is seeking an experienced Painter for an immediate start in the Cromwell area. You will handle preparation through to final finishes on residential and commercial sites, across new builds and renovations.

Expect to work with brushes, rollers and spray equipment to deliver high-quality interiors and exteriors. Reliable, detail-oriented candidates who can pass a pre-employment drug test are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven painting experience.
• Good eye for detail and pride in the finished product.
• Capable of working independently and with other trades.
• Reliable, hardworking and ready to get stuck in.
• Own basic painting tools is an advantage.
• Reliable transport is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces ready for painting.
• Sanding, filling, masking and completing detailed prep work.
• Applying finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Completing interior and exterior painting.
• Working across new builds, renovations and commercial sites.
• Producing clean, consistent finishes to a high standard.
• Keeping your work area tidy and following site safety requirements.

Tradestaff Queenstown is seeking an experienced Painter for an immediate start, working on a range of projects throughout the Cromwell area. We’re after someone who knows their way around a paintbrush and takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll be working across residential and commercial sites, tackling everything from preparation through to the final finish.

Pay rate:

$32–$36 per hour, with weekly pay

What you'll be doing
