Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island’s New World Churton Park bakery is seeking a baker with practical bread baking experience. You will prepare, prove and bake a range of breads daily, ensuring quality and flavour. The role supports planning production and keeping the bakery clean, organised, and safe.

Shifts run on a regular roster (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun 4am–12:30pm); Monday, Tuesday and Saturday off. A qualification helps, but practical pride in your work is prized above all.

Qualifications

• Bread baking experience is required.
• Able to produce consistent quality loaves and textures.

There issomething satisfying about turning a few simple ingredients into great bread.At New World Churton Park, we bake a wide range of our bread from scratch, andwe are looking for someone who shares our passion for it.

Someone whoenjoys working with dough, cares about flavour and texture, and takes pride inseeing customers come back for bread they have made.

Your regularroster

• Wednesday: 4am to 12.30pm
• Thursday: 4am to 12.30pm
• Friday: 4am to 12.30pm
• Sunday: 4am to 12.30pm

Monday,Tuesday and Saturday off.

About therole

You willprepare, prove and bake a range of breads, helping us deliver consistentquality and a fresh, inviting bakery each day. We would welcome someone whobrings ideas, enjoys improving their baking and wants to help us develop ourrange.

You will alsohelp plan production, minimise waste and maintain a clean, organised and safebakery.

About you

You havepractical bread baking experience and a real enthusiasm for the craft. Youunderstand what makes a good loaf and care about getting the details right.

You arereliable, work well with others and can confidently manage your baking tasks. Aqualification would be welcome, but practical experience and pride in your workmatter most.
