Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Kaitaia is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Far North branch and deliver civil and roading work safely, on time, within budget. You will shape the plan, back your team, and build strong client and community relationships.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee around 60 people and an operating budget of up to $30m, driving performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the branch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a management role with strong leadership in civil/roading.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen including budgeting and procurement.
• Engineering qualification (degree, NZCE or equivalent) and a current Class 1 license.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Values-driven approach with a focus on safety and accountability.

We're looking for a Branch Manager, located in Kaitaia to lead our Far North branch and keep good work moving. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll lead around 60 people and oversee a branch with an operating budget of up to $30m.

This is a big role with real impact. You'll be responsible for branch operations across civil and roading activities, making sure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. You'll shape the plan, back your team, build strong client and community relationships, and help the branch perform now and grow into the future.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We're looking for someone with

• At least 5 years' experience in a management role, with strong operational leadership experience in civil, roading or a related industry.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience with business planning, contract administration, risk management and procurement.
• A relevant qualification such as an engineering degree, NZCE or equivalent, plus a current Class 1 license.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A practical, proactive and values-led approach, with a strong focus on safety, accountability, communication and doing right by people.
