Job summary

Turners Group NZ Ltd is seeking an experienced leader to take charge of the Whanganui cars branch, driving performance, growth and exceptional customer service. Start in late October or early November.

You will lead from the front, coach a sales and operations team, build relationships with buyers and vendors, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure a customer-first culture while managing branch budgets.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in a sales-driven or operational environment.
Strong sales background with targets focus.
Ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Commercial acumen with cost management and growth.
A proactive mindset and problem-solving ability.
A full, clean Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage the branch to achieve revenue, profit, and customer targets.
Actively coach, mentor, and support your team, ensuring individual and team success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Drive new business growth through networking and market opportunities.
Maintain and champion a customer-first, service-oriented culture.
Manage branch financial performance, including budgets and cost efficiencies.
