Job summary

Turners Whanganui is seeking an experienced leader to take charge of our Whanganui cars branch and drive performance, growth, and exceptional customer services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone available to commence in late October or Early November.

We are looking for a people-first, results-driven leader with proven experience managing a sales and/or operational team who can coach, develop, and motivate staff to deliver strong results.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a sales-driven or operational environment.
• Strong sales background with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial acumen including cost management and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the branch to achieve revenue, profit, and customer targets.
• Actively coach, mentor, and support your team, ensuring individual and team success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive new business growth through networking and market opportunities.
• Maintain and champion a customer-first, service-oriented culture.
• Manage branch financial performance, including budgets and cost efficiencies.

We're now looking for an experienced leader to take charge of our Whanganui cars branch and drive performance, growth, and exceptional customer services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone available to commence in late October or Early November

Who would suit this role?

We're after a people-first, results-driven leader with proven experience managing a sales and/or operational team. You'll be confident leading from the front-coaching, motivating, and developing your people to deliver strong results. You'll bring a proven track record in sales and business performance, along with the ability to build strong relationships, grow networks, and identify new business opportunities.

Automotive experience is great but what really matters is your energy, drive, leadership capability, and customer focus.

What does the role entail?

• Lead, develop, and manage the branch to achieve revenue, profit, and customer targets

• A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability
• A full, clean Driver’s Licence
• Previous experience managing a team and business unit is highly desirable
