Job summary

Nestlé Nespresso SA is seeking a Retail Coffee Experience Trainer in Christchurch to inspire teams and customers with engaging coffee training, masterclasses, and product launches. You will lead coffee experiences, build team capability, and foster a culture of learning in a fast-paced boutique environment.

The role requires flexibility to rotate rosters, participate in weekends, and perform keyholder duties while upholding our high standards and warm customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality, ideally with exposure to training or leadership.
• Ability to deliver workshops or coaching to teams.
• Strong communicator who creates memorable customer experiences.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and keyholder duties.

Responsibilities

• Share your expertise to ignite a love of coffee within your team and customers.
• Plan, deliver, and review engaging coffee training sessions and masterclasses.
• Lead coffee launches and tasting experiences, reflecting high standards.
• Act as the boutique’s coffee leader — building team capability and a culture of learning.
• Support daily operations, including opening and closing as a keyholder.
• Create meaningful customer connections by bringing passion, knowledge, and warmth to every conversation.
