Job summary

Linde Group in New Zealand is seeking a capable Linehaul Driver to safely manage scheduled runs across the country. You will ensure on-time deliveries, maintain safety standards, and document loads with precision using electronic systems.

Required are a NZ Class 5 licence with Dangerous Goods endorsement and at least 2 years of hands-on driving experience. You will work with operations and maintenance teams to keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years, hands-on Class 5 driving experience with a NZ Class 5 licence and DG endorsement.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and NZ transport regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work independently on the road.
• Comfortable using technology to complete electronic paperwork with attention to detail.
• Forklift endorsement and/or Approved Filler certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete scheduled linehaul runs across New Zealand, ensuring timely deliveries meeting transport schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures, transport regulations, and DG requirements with focus on safe driving and fatigue management.
• Check loads for security, compliance, and proper documentation before and during trips.
• Carry out vehicle/trailer inspections, maintain equipment, and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Use EROAD and company systems to record deliveries, inspections, and compliance information; update team on delays or issues.
• Collaborate with operations, scheduling and maintenance teams to keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

• Safely complete scheduled linehaul runs across New Zealand, making sure deliveries are on time and meet transport schedules
• Follow all safety procedures, transport regulations, and dangerous goods requirements while keeping a strong focus on safe driving and fatigue management
• Check that loads are secure, compliant, and correctly documented before and during every trip
• Carry out vehicle and trailer inspections, keep equipment in good condition, and report any faults or maintenance needs
• Use EROAD and other company systems to record deliveries, inspections, and compliance information, while keeping the team updated on any delays or issues
• Work closely with operations, scheduling, and maintenance teams to keep freight moving safely, efficiently, and reliably

What makes you great
