Job summary

Trade Me in Wellington is seeking a 12-month fixed-term Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a portfolio of customers, handle invoicing, statements and collections, and support pricing changes. Based in Wellington, you will take ownership of a customer portfolio, handling everything from invoicing and statements to collections. You'll also act as a billing subject matter expert, supporting internal pricing and packaging changes while delivering a great customer experience.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

• Take ownership of assigned business units, managing a portfolio of customers for invoicing, statements, and collections
• Resolve customer queries in the Salesforce queue and proactively negotiate overdue debt via phone and email
• Ensure month-end billing is completed on time and contribute operational updates to monthly debtors reporting
• Contribute to process and system improvements, including the adoption of AI tools, to enhance efficiency
• Act as the billing subject matter expert, supporting internal pricing and packaging change projects

What you will bring to our team:

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or credit control experience in a large corporate environment
• Demonstrated experience handling high-volume debtor phone calls
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar Finance software or billing system
