Job summary

Downer New Zealand is seeking a dynamic submissions professional to secure opportunities for our Transport and Infrastructure business. You will coordinate bid submissions, write compelling content and manage the bid process across Cat 1–2 opportunities, while supporting larger Cat 3+ bids with strategy and production.

Qualifications

• Proven skills required in the tender process, including writing and production of documents.
• Strong research skills with ability to use a wide range of sources.
• Excellent analytical abilities to inform bid content and strategy.
• Clear written and oral communication; ability to present information concisely.
• Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple bids.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a team or independent setting.
• Open to feedback and committed to continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, write and produce bid submissions, presentations and capability statements.
• Drive bid content development to ensure compliant submissions for Cat 1–2 tenders.
• Support Leads and Coordinators with Cat 3+ opportunities including capture strategy.
• Provide coordination across all aspects of large, complex bids.
• Adhere to bid process controls.
