Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is seeking a skilled Bid Writer for civil tenders in Southland, NZ. You will craft clear, persuasive responses, coordinating multiple bids and deadlines with estimating, operations and commercial teams to ensure competitive, compliant submissions.

You will translate technical content into compelling content, maintain strong client communications, and leverage lessons learned to improve future tenders.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing multiple bids, tenders or proposals.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to turn technical information into compelling content.
• Good commercial judgement and an understanding of what makes a strong tender submission.
• Confidence working with internal stakeholders and contributing to client discussions.
• Civil construction, infrastructure or a related technical industry background.
• Strong MS Office skills; Power BI or estimating software exposure would be useful but isn't essential.

Responsibilities

• Writing clear, persuasive and well-structured tender responses.
• Coordinating multiple bids, contributors and competing deadlines.
• Working with estimating, operations and commercial teams to bring together pricing, methodology, risk and compliance information.
• Supporting client submissions, clarifications and negotiations throughout the tender process.
• Reviewing previous bid outcomes and applying lessons learned to strengthen future submissions.
