The Higgins New Business team has a newly created role for an experienced Bid Manager to lead bids for Capital Works Projects. You will be working on tenders valued up to $50 million.

As an experienced Bid Manager, you will provide strong people and process leadership, instilling a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in your team. You will support the business in winning work by driving excellence in bid strategy, team formation, and overall bid execution.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Prior Bid Manager experience in the Civil Construction Industry is essential
• Experience working on tender’s valued up to $50 Million
• At least 10 years’ experience with broad experience in design/construct process
• BE Civil or equivalent, preferably CP Eng, preferred
• Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate at all levels
• Solutions focused mindset, you will have the ability to implement practical and timely solutions to problems that arise
• Solid knowledge of engineering disciplines (Civil, structural, M&E) construction systems and methodologies.
