Job summary

Brewers Guild in New Zealand is seeking a Trainee Filler Operator to join our busy beverage bottling and canning line. This role provides full hands-on training on semi-manual filling equipment, with a focus on learning setups, pressure adjustments, and safe production reporting.

You will maintain logs, monitor fill levels, and perform changeovers while building practical skills and a strong work ethic. Previous industry experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience or demonstrable ability with practical machinery and setups.
• Ability to learn and operate semi-manual beverage filling equipment safely.
• Strong communication in English for reporting and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate semi-manual beverage filling equipment with adjustments.
• Perform changeovers between bottle/can sizes and recipes.
• Monitor carbonation, pressures and fill levels during production.
• Complete written production logs and reports with accuracy.
• Clean, sanitize and teardown filling heads and lines for hygiene.
