Job summary

Lionel's Bar & Eatery in Taupo is seeking a motivated hospitality professional to join our seasoned bar team. You will craft cocktails and beverages with speed, care, and consistency, delivering a polished service experience for guests.

We offer a fixed roster with shifts from 12pm to 9pm, five days a week, including evenings and public holidays, with accommodation available and the chance to grow with a locally owned team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 years experience in similar role.
• Strong beverage knowledge.
• Confident and adaptable service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to quality standards.
• Ensure bar is set up, stocked and ready for service.
• Manage orders from bar, counter, and phone.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies.
• Assist guests with enquiries about the restaurant, hotel, and local tourism.
• Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.

Lionel's Bar & Eatery is seeking a highly motivated hospo star to help our seasoned hospitality team to deliver a polished beverage and service experience for customers. You will be experienced in working with speed and efficiency, and never compromising service. Whilst enabling us to set the bar for exceptional service in Taupo.

Responsibilities include

We aim to work to a fixed roster with shifts from 12pm-late (around 9pm) 5 days per week. Including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Work alongside our management team to be creative and develop new cocktails in line with seasonal produce

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to consistent quality and presentation standards.

Ensure that bar is set up, well stocked and ready for service at all times.

Manage orders coming over the bar, counter, and phone.

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

Assist guests with various enquiries relating to restaurant, hotel, and local tourism.

Ensure that Responsible Service of Alcohol/Liquor Licensing guidelines are adhered to.

About you

At least 1 years experience in similar role

Strong beverage knowledge.

Confident and adaptable service skills.
