Queenstown Golf Club on the Kelvin Peninsula is seeking two friendly cafe team members for a seasonal role from October 2026 to April 2027. You will help prepare fresh cafe food and snacks, take orders, and serve customers in a busy, scenic setting.
We offer flexible hours with a minimum of 32 hours per week and shifts across mornings or afternoons. You must have the right to work in New Zealand; sponsorship is not available, and transport is recommended due to limited bus services.

We have an opportunity for two skilled and friendly cafe team members to join us on the spectacular Kelvin Peninsula. These roles are seasonal from October 2026 to April 2027.
If you can can help prepare fresh cafe food and snacks and have a great attitude then this could be your opportunity.
Our customers include our club members, their friends and family, visiting golfers and many walkers and cyclists enjoying the peninsula.
We are flexible on hours for a suitable candidate but would expect a minimum of 32 hours weekly.
You will need your own transport as the Peninsula has limited bus services.
Perform basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen - assisting to prepare stipulated menu items or ingredients for dishes.
Prepare Barista coffee (training available)
Take food and beverage orders including bar orders, serve orders, answer questions and attend to cafe customer requests.
Receive deliveries and put away stock.
Maintain and keep clean cafe equipment, tables, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Attend to all customer queries and requests courteously and efficiently and to establishment standards.
Follow set policies to maintain standards for health & safety at work in all service areas.
We are seeking a team players who can work without supervision when needed.
Our opening hours are 7:00am to 7pm in summer and 8:00am to 5:30pm in the winter. We are open 7 Days a week and work will be split over a morning or afternoon shift with a minimum of 4 shifts per week (32 hours) normally, including weekend and public holidays as rostered.
