St Heliers Bay Cafe and Bistro in Auckland, North Island, is seeking a Barista/Store Assistant to join our busy beachside team. You’ll be making high volumes of coffee and delivering latte art during peak periods. We value reliability and teamwork.

Love the buzz of a busy café? Thrive when the machine’s steaming, the music’s going, and the smell of fresh coffee’s in the air? We’re on the hunt for a Barista/Store Assistant to join our crew at our beachside bistro – open 7 days a week, from early mornings until late.

About You:

You’ve got at least 2 years experience in a high-volume café/venue (we’re talking up to 700 coffees a day on a weekend day. You must be confident producing quality coffee, including consistent latte art and be able to work efficiently and calmly during very busy service periods. A practical trial will be required as part of the recruitment process. If you cannot confidently handle high-volume service and produce quality latte art, please do not apply.

You’re reliable, a good team player, and happy to jump in wherever needed – whether that’s making coffee, helping front-of-house when they need a hand , holding your own in our busy little take-away store, or keeping the place looking sharp.
