The Redoubt Bar and Eatery Te Awamutu, New Zealand is seeking 2 x Bar & Restaurant Duty Managers for their busy venue. The roles require weekend, late-night shifts and public holidays, with a minimum 32 hours per week and up to 45 hours.

Join a well-established bar and eatery operating since 1999, located near Hamilton. Candidates should be reliable, passionate about hospitality, and a team player with strong presentation and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/customer service/retail including at least three months in hospitality.
• LCQ qualifications and manager certificate are preferred for liquor service.
• Ability to upsell and manage stock and duties in a busy hospitality setting.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a welcoming bar and restaurant environment at all times.
• Keep up to date with liquor licensing laws and health and safety rules.
• Prepare and serve drinks; upsell food and beverages where appropriate.
• Assist with shift management, stock checks, and staff recruitment/training.
