Job summary

The Right Track Sports Cafe is recruiting a Bar Manager to lead the bar team, oversee daily operations, manage staff, inventories, and ensure high service and compliance standards. A minimum of three years of relevant experience or a Level 5 qualification in Hospitality/Business is required.

You will be responsible for budgeting, promotional activities, staff development, and adherence to health and safety and alcohol regulations, while maintaining strong customer relationships and reporting on

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of relevant work experience or a Level 5 qualification in Business/Hospitality/Hotel Management and Catering Technology or equivalent or higher.
LCQ and General Manager Certificate (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act) or willingness to work towards it.
Budgeting and menu costing skills

Responsibilities

Oversee the operation of the bar and maintain high standards of service and compliance.
Set and manage budgets for the bar.
Organise and supervise marketing and promotional activities.
Manage front of house staff including rosters and training.
Recruit, appraise and discipline staff as required.
Ensure health and safety and regulatory compliance across bar areas.
Prepare management reports on sales and profitability.
