Job summary

The Hive restaurant and bar, located in West Kumeu, Auckland, is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations and ensure exceptional service and efficiency. This role may be part-time or full-time within a dynamic hospitality environment.

You will lead a team, manage inventory, develop cocktail menus, maintain health and safety standards, and drive sales growth through excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have LCQ and/or Managers Certificate; minimum 2 years in a Bar Manager or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, inventory management and cocktail trends.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; able to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficient with point-of-sale systems.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join our vibrant team at The Hive Restaurant & Bar in West Kumeu, Auckland. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and the efficient running of all bar-related activities. This is a part or full-time position in our dynamic hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and ordering of all bar supplies

• Ensure the bar area is well-maintained, clean, and adheres to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• MUST HAVE LCQ AND/OR MANAGERS CERTIFICATE, PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT CONTACT IF CANDIDATE DOES NOT MEET THE ABOVE. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
