Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a passionate Baker to join our friendly Bakery team. You will produce high quality bakery goods for retail and deliver excellent customer service in a busy setting.

The successful applicant will hold a Level 4 qualification or higher, with ideally at least 1 year of baking experience in a retail environment. You must be able to work early shifts as scheduled.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team member to join our friendly Bakery team. We are currently seeking a passionate Baker who takes pride in producing high quality products and providing excellent customer service.

Duties include:

• Production of quality bakery goods for retail sale
• Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship
• Be a good communicator and team player
• Be able to work efficiently in a busy team
• Comply with our Food Control Plan and Health & Safety Programme

The successful applicant must:

• Relevant Level 4 qualification or higher. In addition to the qualification, we would ideally prefer at least 1 year experience as a baker, ideally in a retail environment
• Present a passion for baking and be self-motivated
• Show strong attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and independently

The hours for the role will be:

Tuesday: 4.00am-12.30pm

Thursday: 4.00am-12.30pm

Friday: 4.00am - 12.30pm

Saturday: 4.00am-12.30pm
