Job summary

New World Mosgiel is seeking an early riser to join its busy Bakery team as a full-time Baker or Bakery Assistant. You will commit to making quality bread products and a range of smallgoods to meet customer demand, reporting to the Bakery Manager in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Hours include Tue 4am–12:30pm, Thu 4am–12:30pm, Fri 3am–11:30am, Sat 3am–11:30am (40 hours/week). A recognised baking qualification is preferred, with commercial baking experience and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• A recognised baking qualification is preferred.
• Commercial baking experience producing a variety of baked goods.
• A team player with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of personal presentation.
• Open minded and enthusiastic and able to work over time when needed.
• Able to lift up to 20kg.
• The right to live and work in New Zealand.

Hours of work

• Tuesday 4am – 12.30pm
• Thursday 4am – 12.30pm
• Friday 3am – 11.30am
• Saturday 3am – 11.30am
• 40 hours per week
