Job summary

New World Inglewood is seeking an experienced baker to join our close-knit bakery team. You will prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of bakery products in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

This role offers early starts (4:30am–1:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday), competitive pay, staff discounts, ongoing training, and opportunities to progress within the business. Join a community-driven store near Mount Taranaki.

Qualifications

We’re a growing, community-focused supermarket set against the iconic Mount Taranaki, just 15 minutes from New Plymouth. Our team is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud of the great feedback we receive from customers about both our products and our friendly service.

We’re looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. We use Yarrow’s Frozen Dough for breads and rolls, and make our cakes, muffins, and scones from scratch. For the right candidate, we’re also open to appointing a Senior Baker.

About the Role
