Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking an experienced Baker for New World Inglewood. Join a close-knit team producing breads, cakes, muffins and scones from scratch, with early starts and physical work in a community-focused store near Mount Taranaki.

The role involves preparing and baking a wide range of products, ensuring quality and safety, and supporting daily production planning and customer service.

We’re a growing, community-focused supermarket set against the iconic Mount Taranaki, just 15 minutes from New Plymouth. Our team is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud of the great feedback we receive from customers about both our products and our friendly service.

We’re looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. We use Yarrow’s Frozen Dough for breads and rolls, and make our cakes, muffins, and scones from scratch. For the right candidate, we’re also open to appointing a Senior Baker.

About the Role

• Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of bakery products

What We’re Looking For
