Job summary

Comspek International in Wellington is seeking an experienced Azure Engineering Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership across cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, and automation. The role focuses on establishing standards, improving developer experience, and driving CI/CD and deployment automation.

You will create reusable cloud and platform patterns to support long‑term capability, balancing strategic direction with hands‑on delivery in a collaborative enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure cloud engineering across hosting, networking, compute, and environments.
• Proven DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release engineering.
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot and/or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to define and implement engineering standards, tooling, and reusable patterns.
• Track record leading engineering initiatives across multiple teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills and a delivery‑focused approach.
