Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect specializing in Azure to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud solutions that align with business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust Azure architectures, lead migration of on-prem workloads, ensure security and high availability, optimize costs, and promote Azure best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings; IaC tooling.
• Strong security principles and excellent stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, covering compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Develop migration strategies for on-prem workloads to Azure.
• Ensure security, compliance, and high availability of cloud environments.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of cloud services.
