Job summary

Datacom in Auckland seeks a Solution Architect with deep Azure Integration Services expertise to lead the design and governance of our enterprise-scale connectivity solutions. You will move beyond point-to-point connections to build decoupled architectures that are robust, secure and scalable for the long term.

In this role you’ll own the integration roadmap, define patterns and standards for AIS, and translate complex technical concepts for senior business leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical roles with 5+ years specialising in AIS-centric solutions.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of the Core Four: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and applying them to real-world scenarios.
• Data transformation skills: Liquid Templates, XSLT, JSON/XML mappings.
• Security expertise: Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, private networking.
• Hybrid connectivity experience between on-prem and Azure using Data Gateways/Private Links.
• Consulting or lead-architect experience with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of integration solutions using the AIS stack.
• Champion Enterprise Integration Patterns for system resilience.
• Define and govern API Management strategy including security oversight.
• Architect high-throughput messaging with Service Bus and Event Grid.
• Advise on legacy middleware modernization to AIS architectures.
• Establish best practices, naming conventions and reusable frameworks.
