Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Technical Consultant to lead the detailed design and technical strategy of our Payments Platform in Auckland. You will shape governance, guide cross-platform initiatives and drive payments architecture and security.

You'll demonstrate deep expertise in Azure PaaS (Functions, SQL Database, Cosmos, Service Bus) and mentor the Payments team while influencing the Payments Advisory Group to promote innovation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in payments domain and governance.
• Experience guiding cross-platform design initiatives and architecture.
• Strong focus on security practices within payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead progress in design governance ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Provide guidance across platforms for innovative design solutions.
• Oversee integration of new technologies within existing systems.
• Demonstrate deep Azure PaaS knowledge across services.
• Develop a scalable, reliable, high-performance architecture.
• Ensure secure handling of data and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with InfoSec to align security strategies with Azure ecosystem.
• Mentor team members and contribute to Payments Advisory Group.
