Job summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) seeks a Solution Architect for a 24‑month fixed-term contract in Auckland. You will design secure, scalable solutions for the bank's Cards programme, leading cross‑functional teams across payments innovation, fraud prevention and loyalty.

You’ll develop API strategies, promote reusable architectures, and align designs with enterprise standards while collaborating with engineering leads to deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial services architecture, cards domain or customer-d facing digital experiences.
• Ability to operate within enterprise architecture governance and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Proficiency in API security, gateways, OAuth TLS and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural design for strategic digital initiatives within Cards programme.
• Develop API strategies and event-driven integrations across platforms.
• Architect end‑to‑end solutions focusing on scalability, security and compliance.
• Produce architecture artefacts and present designs in governance forums.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to bridge solution architecture to detailed design.
