Job summary
Contact Energy Ltd is looking for a Cloud Engineer to help build and evolve our cloud platforms using infrastructure as code. You’ll join a squad and contribute to automation, networking and security that support everything from customer experiences to renewable energy initiatives.
You’ll grow with the team, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with engineers, product owners and delivery leads.
Qualifications
- Experience with a public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security and IaC.
- Strong problem-solving ability and curiosity for new technology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Confident working independently while contributing to a team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, product owners and delivery leads to deliver business outcomes.
- Evolve and support cloud infrastructure, networking and security capabilities.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and automation practices to reduce manual work.
- Work in a modern cloud environment that encourages learning and experimentation.
- Influence technical conversations and squad planning with curiosity and collaboration.
