Job summary

Datacom is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to deliver projects across AWS services and support cloud transformation initiatives. You will work in a collaborative team, drive automation, and contribute to secure, scalable cloud environments for diverse customers.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, experience with IaC, and a proactive, growth mindset. You will participate in an on-call roster and partner with architects, service delivery teams, and engineers to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering AWS solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience with IaC using CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform/Pulumi.
• Hybrid/multi-cloud design and secure, scalable architectures.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Familiarity with IAM, auditing, and compliance standards.
• Experience with DevOps tooling and on-call operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer AWS environments and drive cloud transformations.
• Lead incident and problem management, influence platform strategy.
• Champion automation, DevOps practices, and security governance.
• Provide enablement and guidance across customer teams and support functions.
• Act as trusted advisor for cloud technologies and solutions.
