Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority Of New Zealand is seeking an Aviation Safety Coordinator to support regulatory processes including issuing, renewing, and amending aviation documents. You will manage records, perform quality checks, and coordinate tasks with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or coordination roles, with strong preference for regulatory/public sector backgrounds.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft registration applications, amendments and related activities.
• Coordinate documentation to support aviation certification processes.
• Act as a key contact for aviation participants and aircraft owners.
• Provide administrative support across aviation safety functions.
• Maintain high-quality records and information management practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks to support regulatory decisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
