Job summary

Heights Recruitment in Christchurch, NZ, has a hands-on Welder/Fabricator role. You will weld and fabricate high‑quality components and equipment for stairs, ramps, platforms, frames and tanks, using mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel and other alloys.

Qualifications

• Experienced or Trade Qualified Welders / Fabricators - TIG experience.
• Confidence working with mild steel and aluminium (stainless a bonus).
• Ability to draw up plans and bring them to life.
• Health and safety conscious.
• Great communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate high-quality components and specialised equipment and projects, including stairs, ramps, platforms, frames and tanks.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings, fabricate to precise tolerances.
• Deliver workmanship of the highest standard, across diverse materials.
• Maintain a guaranteed 40-hour work week with overtime available.
