Keith Andrews Trucks in Palmerston North is seeking a skilled Auto Technician to join our busy workshop. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards, with strong focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

We offer manufacturer training from Fuso/Mercedes-Benz, excellent earning potential and a clear path for career progression within a Kiwi-owned network of over 300 team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive or a relevant trade qualification.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• A great attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
• Class 2 licence ideally (Class 5 support available).
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a range of light commercial vehicles e.g. van, utes & small trucks.
• Perform routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Liaise with the service team and customers for approvals and updates.
• Accurately document all work carried out.
• Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technology and repair methods.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and workshop compliance.
