Job summary

Centra Motor Co is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our established Timaru dealership. You will service, diagnose and repair a range of passenger and commercial vehicles with the latest diagnostic tools and manufacturer resources.

You'll work a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-5:00pm, with ongoing manufacturer training and clear career development opportunities in a supportive team focused on quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

Trade-qualified Automotive Technician with a recognised automotive qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Full, current NZ driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of passenger and commercial vehicles
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Complete vehicle inspections and WOF checks where certified
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop presentation
Work collaboratively with the wider service team to deliver excellent customer service
