Job summary

The Motor Company Service Centre in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing Christchurch workshop. You'll work across dealership stock, retail customer vehicles and specialist builds, with industry-leading pay and excellent facilities.

You'll enjoy a variety of vehicles, ongoing training and real career progression as we expand across three automotive businesses, with relocation support for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Recognised Automotive Technician qualification is required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving abilities.
• Experience across a range of makes and models.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Positive attitude and team-first approach.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Mechanical servicing and repairs.
• Scheduled maintenance.
• Pre-purchase inspections and dealership vehicle preparation.
• Accessory installation, 4WD upgrades and modifications.
• Quality control and final inspections.
• Collaboration with service, workshop and sales teams.
