Job summary

BM Workshop Grey Lynn is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our busy automotive parts team in Auckland. You will help workshop and external customers by identifying and supplying the right vehicle parts and processing orders with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical knowledge, good English, solid computer skills, and enjoy working as part of a friendly, professional team in a BMW & MINI specialist workshop.

Qualifications

• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge.
• Confident identifying and sourcing vehicle parts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Organised and accurate with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attend to parts enquiries from workshop and external customers.
• Identify and supply correct automotive parts.
• Process parts orders and invoices.
• Source and order parts from suppliers.
• Receive and check incoming parts.
• Maintain accurate parts and stock information.
• Provide knowledgeable service to trade and retail customers.

BM Workshop Grey Lynn is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy and professional automotive parts team. This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive parts experience or strong mechanical knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service to both our workshop and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Attending to parts enquiries from our workshop and external customers
• Identifying and supplying the correct automotive parts
• Processing parts orders and invoices
• Sourcing and ordering parts from our suppliers
• Receiving and checking incoming parts
• Managing and following up outstanding orders
• Maintaining accurate parts and stock information
• Providing knowledgeable and professional service to trade and retail customers

About you

• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Confident identifying and sourcing vehicle parts
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Organised and accurate with good attention to detail
• Friendly, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment
