Job summary

JOBCOR NZ Ltd in Auckland's North Shore is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a highly regarded franchise dealership.

You will tackle complex fault finding, advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, software-related repairs and mechanical work on passenger vehicles. A current WOF licence is advantageous, with opportunities to conduct WOF inspections in a modern workshop with quality diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive trade qualification.
• Proven experience in advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic platforms.
• Current WOF licence advantageous.
• Clear spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, software-related repairs and mechanical work.
• Work on passenger vehicles with a focus on complex fault resolution.
• Assist with WOF inspections where applicable.
