Job summary

Tradestaff Rotorua is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join a well-established Rotorua manufacturer specialising in truck trailers. You will perform electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding on trailers in a busy manufacturing environment, with immediate start and long-term opportunities.

The role involves reading wiring diagrams, testing work and ensuring high quality and safety standards while collaborating with the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Recognised automotive electrical qualification.
• Proven experience as Auto Electrician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with trucks, trailers or heavy vehicles is advantageous.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Installing electrical systems and components on truck trailers.
• Wiring lights, brakes and other trailer accessories.
• Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical faults.

Tradestaff Rotorua is looking for a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician to join a well-established local company specialising in the manufacture of truck trailers.

This is a great long-term opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a proven track record in automotive electrical work. You’ll be working in a busy manufacturing environment, completing electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding work on truck trailers.

Location: Rotorua

Pay rate: $29–$35 per hour, depending on experience

Start: Immediate

Duration: Long-term opportunity

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

• Installing electrical systems and components on truck trailers
• Wiring lights, brakes and other trailer accessories
• Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical faults
• Reading and working from wiring diagrams

• A recognised automotive electrical qualification
• Proven experience working as an Auto Electrician
