Tradestaff Hawke's Bay is seeking a qualified Commercial and Residential Electrician to join our team in Hastings. Work spans new builds, renovations, maintenance, and fit-outs across Hawke’s Bay, with a focus on quality installations and safety.

You’ll need NZ registration (EWRB) with a current practising licence, plus experience in commercial or residential work and the ability to read electrical plans. Immediate start and weekly pay are offered, with generous hours available.

Commercial & Residential Electrician

Are you a qualified Commercial and Residential Electrician looking for your next opportunity in Hawke’s Bay? Tradestaff Hawke’s Bay is seeking skilled electricians to join our team working with respected electrical contractors across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Location: Hastings, Hawke's Bay

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour depending on experience – paid weekly

The Role

You’ll be working across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout Hawke’s Bay. From new builds and renovations to maintenance and fit-outs, you’ll be part of a skilled team delivering high-quality electrical installations while maintaining strong safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial and residential electrical installations
• Cable tray, conduit, and cable installation
• Switchboard and distribution board work
• Fault finding, repairs, and maintenance
• Installation of lighting, power, and control systems
• Testing and commissioning electrical systems
• Following site safety procedures and industry standards

What We’re Looking For

• NZ Registered Electrician (EWRB) with current practising licence
