Grant Thornton New Zealand is seeking an Auditor with 2+ years of external audit experience to join our Wellington team. You will work with partners and managers across multiple sectors, engaging clients and supervising junior staff while contributing to high-quality audits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years external audit experience.
• CA or CPA qualification in progress.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously.
• Ability to have fun.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with audit assignments as part of a team at any or all stages of the assignment including planning, fieldwork and completion.
• Leading audit planning discussions as required, including identifying risks and notifying manager.
• Identifying technical or administrative issues on an assignment and recommending a response.
