Grant Thornton New Zealand in Wellington CBD is seeking an audit professional to join a collaborative team. You will work with Partners and Managers on client projects, supporting junior staff while delivering quality client service.

You’ll assist with audit assignments across planning, fieldwork and completion, lead planning discussions where required, and identify issues to propose practical solutions. This role offers flexible working options and a clear path to professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years External audit experience.
• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) in progress.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit assignments as part of a team at any or all stages of the assignment including planning, fieldwork and completion.
• Lead audit planning discussions as required, including identifying risks and notifying manager.
• Identify technical or administrative issues on an assignment and recommending a response.
