Kiwi Collective in Auckland seeks a capable Store Manager to lead the NZ branch and Auckland store. The role reports to the Head of Retail and focuses on achieving commercial objectives, brand visibility, and strong customer service in a busy environment.

You will drive merchandising, staffing, stock management, and pricing strategies while fostering a motivated, high-performing team to deliver exceptional retail experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma Level 5 or 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Strong numerical data analysis skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Weekend and public holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, supervising employees, and rostering.
• Manage store profitability and control expenses, including labour costs, inventory levels, and handling cash and inventory shortages.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and effective merchandising.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to stay competitive and profitable.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and attract customers.
• Monitor product mix to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Ensure compliance with Employment and Health & Safety legislation.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to optimize costs.
• Prepare banking/turnover reports and annual budgets; meet store goals.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand presentation.
