Job summary

Kiwi Collective in Auckland is seeking a capable Store Manager to lead our Auckland store. This is a permanent full-time role with 38 hours per week, focusing on luxury retail in a busy environment, reporting to the Head of Retail.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day ops, drive sales, and lead a small team while ensuring great customer service and brand standards. Fluent English and Mandarin preferred; experience with Asian markets is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 5 or higher qualification or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least three to four years of comparable global luxury retail sales experience.
• 2 years in supervisory/management role.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, supervising employees, and rostering.
• Manage store profitability, labour costs, inventory levels, and cash handling.
• Maintain stock levels, core product range, and effective merchandising.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including seasonal and holiday promotions, to drive sales.
• Monitor stock levels and optimize product mix for customer demand.
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times.
• Negotiate supplier pricing to optimize costs.
• Prepare banking and turnover reports and assist with budgets.
