Job summary

New Zealand Police seeks a Logistics Delivery Coordinator for the 12‑month fixed-term role based in Auckland. You will coordinate day-to-day vehicle movements, track installations, and support administrative PSN delivery nationally. Some travel to install sites is expected, and you’ll report to the Logistics Delivery Lead in Wellington.

You will work in a proactive, detail‑oriented team, with a focus on record keeping, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement to support frontline services.

Responsibilities

• Follow the logistics plan to schedule vehicles movements to/from multiple sites to enable hardware installation by third parties.
• Coordinate with all vendors and service providers to ensure smooth delivery
• Updating of backend asset management systems
• Decision Making – Having the critical thinking and problem solving skills to make sound decisions.
• Partnership / Stakeholders – Experienced in engaging and building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
