The Opportunity

We are seeking someone to lead our Clinical Nurse Leaders and wider team in the management of our theatre services. Working in partnership with a collaborative leadership team, we want to create an environment where our nurses are supported and energised to bring life to our vision of clinical leadership.

Reporting to the Theatre Services Manager, the Associate Theatre Manager is responsible for:

  • providing clinical expertise, direction and leadership to the nursing and clinical support workforce within Theatres, identifying and driving improvements to how we work.
  • managing the day- to- day requirements of service delivery of the Operating Theatres.
  • clinical and operational resource management and efficiency of services
  • collaborating with other leadership teams to support and deliver efficient and effective use of people and financial resources, resulting in positive clinical outcomes, exceptional customer services and growth of services within their delegation.

This role actively supports the Theatre Services Manager to the achieve strategic goals of Braemar Hospital and is a critical element of the Theatre leadership team.
