The Opportunity

We are currently seeking people interested in working as a Registered Anaesthetic Technician or Nurse. Working in Theatre, reporting to the Charge Anaesthetic Technician, the Registered Anaesthetic Technician / Nurse is responsible for providing clinical and technical support to our Anaesthetists.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A certificate in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent;
• A current practicing certificate with Medical Sciences Council or the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• A minimum of one year post graduate experience as a Registered Anaesthetic Technician or as a Registered Anaesthetic Nurse.
• Demonstrated clear and professional communication skills and the ability to remain calm and collected in a high-pressure situation.
