Job summary

Universal Store is seeking a driven Retail Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and drive store performance in a full-time capacity. The role mirrors many Store Manager responsibilities and offers a clear pathway for career progression.

The successful candidate will operate on a Sunday–Thursday roster, lead a dynamic team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach staff, and execute VM and promotional directives to uphold the Universal Store standard.

Skills and Experience

• Previous leadership experience in retail (Shift Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager).
• Strong sales focus with abilityto motivate and lead a team.
• Warm, confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong operational understanding — VM, stock, store standards.
• Flexible, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to brand presentation.
