Macpac Napier is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager, coach a passionate team, and drive exceptional customer service on the shop floor.

To thrive here you should lead by example, mentor staff, and manage training, floor sales, visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security while delivering strong results. A passion for the outdoors or travel is preferred, with a role in a vibrant, outdoors-focused store.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisor experience.
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• An ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
• Having experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential... a passion for the outdoors or travel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to reach sales potential and ensure smooth store operations.
